I was incredibly impressed at the quality of how this remaster was done. The visuals, audio, controls, and performance are all top notch for a system that's near the end of its life.

The adventure itself was even better than the first time around. I absolutely love how you get your abilities stripped away at the start and need to reclaim all that was lost. Not only does it serve as a beacon of progress as you play, but it also serves as a way to keep the player engaged and learning new things up until the very end.

The titular Metroid Prime is, in my opinion, one of the best final bosses in gaming. It applies virtually everything you've acquired throughout the game in order to defeat it. Everything gets tested and you truly feel like a badass for coming out on top.
