This was great fun. It was awesome to experience the amazing God of War combat in a more gameplay-focused genre. Very light on the roguelite stuff, which is perfectly fine with me, it had all the basic trappings that it needed for it to work. Great additional story for Kratos and it's all free. Tempted to give it an extra half a star for being so, but I want to rate the game on its own merits and not the price point. Still though, hell of a deal.

Felt pretty easy on normal difficulty, I might re-try some runs at a higher difficulty sometime in the new year. As is, I only died once the entire run through (not counting scripted moments). Man, the Leviathan Axe is as satisfying as ever though.
