Wow, this game is over-hated to extreme degrees. I understand that from a performance standpoint, it was atrocious early on, but people have turned that into criticisms about the game as a whole product and I don't think those really hold up. Here we are 1.5 years later and the game runs much better now, with much fewer glitches, and the overall package results in a fantastic game.

I've seen a lot of people refer to Cyberpunk as an ok game but not what they expected, what they hoped for, what was promised. To that I do have to ask, what did you expect? For me, I expected a Cyberpunk setting, first person Witcher game. And I got exactly what I expected. Amazing dialogue, side quests, characters, good main story, mediocre gameplay (actually better than I expected though), etc. Night City was a very immersive setting, a lot of it is window dressing, which is why there's a million locked doors in the game, but that window dressing is very effective at portraying the setting.

The ending that I got left me a little underwhelmed, as it feels like it kind of just jumps the shark and all of a sudden I'm in space performing a new job. I also didn't like that my V's romance with Judy falls apart in this ending for nothing that I did wrong, it's no different from any other choice outside of the fact that I let Johnny and Rogue have their moment.

That, and the still decently populous glitches, are really my only problems with the game. Sometimes the window dressing falls apart and you find three different people on the same street all with the same character model. Those kinds of things are immersion breaking in an otherwise very immersive game.

Outside of that, very pleased by the game! Just like The Witcher 3 before it, an iconic cast of characters that are all very memorable and a reason to want to play the game. I hope that in spite of the reception at release and the technical problems in the game that they do make a sequel, as there are a lack of Cyberpunk games out there and none have the potential and pedrigree that this could have as a franchise.
