I shocked myself when I beat the final boss on my first run... because I'm really not THAT good at games. It kinda killed the feeling of progression the game seemed to want, but... I just kept going.

It was a really fun single run, and I'm sure the game adds a fair bit more depth with subsequent attempts, but I find it hard to press on since I've already beaten the final boss.
