The thing about final fantasy 9 is that it's just good. It doesn't try to do anything wacky or insane; go outside of its lane. Solid jrpg foundation with roots that span the goddamn globe. That's how solid this game is.

Good models, good towns, good characters, good music, good atmosphere, good FMV's. VERY bad overworld slowdown in ps1
