After trying Gotham Knights, I was so sad it wasn't a Arkham game. I was then kind of fully set to play a Arkham Game. The only one I haven't played recently was this one. I thought City was good, but the shift to open world I did not enjoy, and Arkham Knight was even worse with that. I sold a bunch of Steam cards to buy this on sale and I was set.

Starting out I was fucking happy, I was playing Arkham, I love Arkham Asylum, it is a really fucking well made combat system that is allowed the sins of its seed spreading far across the gaming industry. It slowly wore on me though once I remember that it is, indeed, open world again. However this developer seemed to take a different approach, one more distinctly.... Ubisoft.

Fucking Ubisoft towers. The same unbearable amount of Riddler shit filling the needless open world. So tedious to open the map, mark the Riddler thing, then close it and go there. Either that or fly around in Detective Vision (which I still fucking despise and will ONLY be okay with it in Asylum). Of course, the towers are blocked by gadgets I don't have, I guess it makes sense, but it irrationally pisses me off because in other games you can just do them. I wanna get them outta the way because they are stupid!

I also was getting slightly filtered by the Deathstroke fight and it just made me decline with this game faster, then the Anarky stuff appears and I realized just how much side content I would have to do. IDK! I dont like Arkham being bigger than Asylum, that game is the PERFECT pacing and time for this shit.

Also, I kind of like how Batman sucks at what he is doing, cause he is noob at it. But he is like really violent, which could be apart of him being a novice to this scary vigilante guy. But god, I feel like he beats up some people so brutally in the cutscenes and thats not what Batman is at all.
