Despite Re7s commercial success, this is probably one of my least favorite games I've ever played. It's so detached from what gave resident evil its charms that it just feels more like a poor attempt at making an Outlast game with guns in it. It was nice that the series gained more popularity and returned to its proper horror roots, but this isn't for me, and it never will be.
