Mod out the intro and you have yourself a very consistent, enjoyable from start to finish crpg.

Why I rate it this highly is the lore. Fallout 1 and 2 make up my favorite crpg lore/world ever, and the foundational story here makes FNV am even better game. The characters here are believable and morally grey (as they should be in a nuclear fallout) the dialogue is witty and evocative, and the factions are at their best here. The gameplay is dated and it sometimes doesn't do a great job of guiding players, but it's great nonetheless
