FNaF 3 is a funny game. Before I decided to play it myself, I watched my friend play it. Springtrap has a great design, but we found his movement in the office silly. At one point, while I was playing night 5, the beginning of his jumpscare animation played but was interrupted by the completion of the night, which got a laugh out of me.

That aside, it fails as a horror game: the jumpscares are the worst in the series so far. Although none of the games have genuinely frightened me since I was a kid, the first two games still managed to startle me a few times. I can't say the same about this game.

Initially, I thought the game improved on the need to use multiple different security cameras: in the second game, you only needed to keep checking the Prize Corner, and in the first, you only needed to check Pirate Cove and the Show Stage (unless you were attempting 4/20 mode). While I definitely found myself checking more than two cameras during the fifth and sixth nights, it was still fairly easy to keep Springtrap trapped in the top right area of Fazbear's Fright.

Despite the game's issues, I didn't regret my time with this entry.
