A solid follow up to Mario 1 but still hasn't aged particularly well. I like the expanded level design and multiple playable characters but the controls are too floaty and slippery and I don't like the grabbing mechanic as much as jumping on enemies. Also I feel like the game overstays it's welcome just a little bit. I had enough at around world 4. Not bad but not great either.
