To be honest, I don't hate this game as much as I used to but I think it's painfully below average though. As a follow-up to RE4, it failed in every single category except for gameplay. I think the story's whatever, and it suffers a decline of quality once the soldiers show up but it's not like this game had much of that to begin with. I also hate how instead of having fine line between horror, and action it just goes pure action which is what made me not like RE5 and 6 in the first place. It's not a game I'd ever consider going back to unlike the prior titles, maybe the other modes but I personally didn't try them out.
