It's a fun game. One of the better 2D platformers out there, but for Mario, it feels like a step back in some areas.
I definitely appreciate what they were trying to accomplish by making the game's map so much more complex and making it feel like a real place you are slowly exploring instead of a bunch of random levels without connection.
SMB3 is still better imo.
