Definitely has the best knuckles campaign in 2D sonic. Level design might be just a little bit too focused on speed and spectacle if anything but god dammit it's so much fun and has a banger soundtrack and great physics/momentum. Overall, not just on par with official 2D sonic- better than a good chunk of them.
