DiRT 3 definitely wins for most fun car control in the series, but I frankly enjoyed how ridiculous DiRT Showdown was as a spinoff, from soundtrack to visuals. It had some solid multiplayer elements too, including the Racenet Team Championship. Another solid racing game from Codemasters.
