The game in itself is not bad. That would come from everything surrounding it. The lives system, the aggressive monetisation and the fact you most likely can't progress unless you link your game to facebook. Fuck this game for making publishers learn all the wrong lessons from mobile gaming and ruining what was a promising field that gave indie devs a chance to flourish. This title and clash of clans ruined mobile gaming

How did Clash of Clans ruin mobile gaming. I agree completely on the damage Candy Crush unleashed but COC has always seemed pretty relaxed. Unless you mean it causing the creation of those smaller games where you need to upgrade buildings?

My gripe with CoC is fundamentally with its monetization.
Other publishers saw how immensely popular it was, as well as how much money the game raked in, and followed in its footsteps with clones and other titles such as Dungeon Keeper Mobile. All of those games's fault lies in their aggressive monetization, which is combined with ever-increasing amounts of waiting in order to stress the player out and make them either quit the game or shell out way more money than they would have if the game had a price tag (the phenomenon of the so-called "whales").
Monetization on mobile flattened variety andit feels like almost every mobile game exists to waste your time and/or empty your wallet

TL:DR free-to-play economy is mostly garbage
