I waited 3 years to play this game for obvious reasons. When patch 2.0 came I bought it with phantom liberty. I can honestly say this was truly one of the more immersive games I’ve played, the world just feels alive and believable, the characters are a chefs kiss (aside from the dlc) johnny silverhand made me want to have my first cigarette since I was 19 years old. The story and side quests I don’t remember a single bad quest. The guns are fun and have some weight and girth to them. The upgrade tree is about as good as you get in a game like this. I can’t really nit pick it because the execution is so on point. My only complaint is the radio isn’t that good aside from ‘pebkac’ and ‘impulse’ the rest are just forgettable lol.

Phantom Liberty about half way through had me rolling my eyes so hard that they started to hurt. Night City is vast and believable that it felt like it could have gone with or without V. Dogtown on the other hand is like 2 blocks… the story is shoehorned and I don’t care about any of the events or characters (except president Myers she is a bad bitch) so about half way through I was ready to move on from cyber punk and I give phantom liberty a 3/5. I wish I could write a more in depth review but the Covid head fog is getting the best of me.
