I actually grew up playing the original Resident Evil 4 back when it came out on the Gamecube (and I was 9). I didn't fully replay the game again until a couple of years ago, right after the Resi 2 remake funny enough. And as fun as it was to replay the game again, I felt like there were elements that really needed to be fixed if they were to remake this game. And here we are.

Honestly, this is the best way to play RE 4. While playing the original isn't a bad choice, the amount of improvements this game fixed over the original is better, and I had a lot of fun playing it, despite me playing this on the Hardcore difficulty and almost pulling my hair out. Despite this, I feel like the original game needed a remake. And boy did Capcom deliver.

Now if Capcom can remake Code Veronica please. That would totally be great.
