The best metroidvania ever made, and one of the best indie games of all time.
My history with this game is not recent. My first contact with it was in 2020, when my friends introduced me to the game saying it was "the best they've ever played". Hearing that, of course, I got curious and went to test the game. It was a huge disappointment, so I dropped after two hours of gameplay.
It was in mid 2022 that I gave another shot for this amazing game, and got one of the best gaming experiences of my life. The graphics and soundtrack are gorgeous, with beautiful hand-made draws and chilling songs in boss battles. The gameplay is phenomenal, being extremely precise and responsive.
I haven't done 100% of the game (or 112%) because it has so much content that I didn't knew what to do first. But I got close to it, defeating Radiance and Knightmare Grimm, the hardest boss fights I've ever encountered.
After 50 hours, I can say it was extremely worth it, one of the most pleasant surprises I've had this year.
