Overall, Persona 4 is a great game, with lots of flaws. I enjoyed playing through the middle and start of the game greatly, as I enjoyed the characters and each of their stories (mostly) as well as the plot of the main storyline. However, my feelings changed during the endgame. I was bored of the combat, had already maxed out my favorite confidants, and suddenly there was nothing to do. There were just so many lane opportunities and so few confidants that I was actually interested in. During this time period, I used the skip button a lot, and also ended up not doing the entire last dungeon just because of boredom. Besides that, the ending was great, and this game probably will continue to resonate with me as a good, chill experience. TLDR; I believe that this is not as interesting as Persona 5, although it provides a great experience with SOME of the cast. I would love to go even further in depth but this seems long enough to convey basic emotions. I will now be patiently waiting for P3 Reload, as well as P6 if that happens. :)
