Holy fish! Where do I start with this one, the big controversy around this game made me wanna check it out even more and boy did I like it more than most reviews I read. Absolutely insane game, at times the things that happen throughout this story, it stops feeling like a game and you immerse yourself so much that you forget you are playing a video game. It's hard to explain with words what this game and its story do to you. I see why so many people don't like it but I think it's overhated. The problem is with the pacing and the story dragged on for too much time, they wanted to tell so much with this game, but making the player play a huge amount of time with another character was a mistake. Maybe if they separated the chapters, one chapter with Ellie and the next one with Abby, that would have helped. With all that being said this story shows how a person could change for the worse after losing so much and that ending was hard, because Ellie actually realized she became the one thing she was fighting against all this time, a monster.
Anyway, great game but not as good as the first one in terms of the story, it was just all over the place.
