Game is overall fun and charming, but I really wish that they made it so that you could actually skip mid-level dialogue and cutscenes. It's super annoying, especially if you have to replay the level for a sparkle gem you missed or the postgame collectibles that require you to replay every single level. They do have a skip cutscene button, but it only applies for the cinematic ones and not to the fully in-game ones.
Other minor issues I have with the game are that none of the main bosses really stand out (doesn't help that none of them appear in the story outside of Madame Grape), sometimes you'll proc a stage transition without realizing and get locked out of a sparkle gem, Dashing Thief Rehearsal exists, and some mechanics like the Mermaid Peach rhythm game are slightly expanded on but never used to their full potential in a rehearsal or anything. The final boss is also a bit of a letdown, but that's mainly because it just boils down to "mash B and occasionally move"
