Gameplay is fun, characters are good, and the sidequests, collectables, and lore are great.
Unfortunately, there's a fair amount of bugs in it (mounts getting stuck on rocks, somehow falling through a rock, fish completely disappearing from the world while chasing them), the resource collection part feels more annoying than in the last game, it feels like there's too much stuff in the open world that you have to grab (thanks to the map marking things as minor as just some useless currency items as a question mark), and playing on Hard it felt like most battles were just a fight to see if Aloy could fire a heavy weapon before the machines hit her. Also, underwater controls and gameplay suck.
Still an enjoyable experience, just not as great as I expected it to be.
