Solid game, but the finale tricks you into thinking there's gonna be a major decision actually affected by your choices earlier in the game only for it to have the same result regardless.
True Colors never quite hits the highs of Life is Strange 1, but also stays pretty consistently good outside of a section in Chapter 5 I felt had pacing issues. The characters are good, each episode is good (especially episode 3), the story is good, the choices are mostly pretty solid even if there's some wasted potential in how they affect the story (especially the ones involving Eleanor and Charlotte), and the music is nice throughout. Alex is a great protagonist, and her emotion-focused power actually ended up being really cool when it came to the side content and major choices involving it.
