It's incredible how the moment you switch from playing this game with friends to playing solo or with randoms the quality of the experience plummets down about tenfold. Still I do think the proximity voice chat is such a fun idea, peering into the soundscape of an average cod players existance is something I do enjoy in a sort of sick demented way, hearing the bass of their muffled music pound my ears while their kid/wife/dog scream in the background. Good Lord it fills me with joy, right up untill i burst their brain with a sniper rifle and I hear a brief cry of despair. I will never hear anything from that persons life ever again. In a way I have killed them, in my life, they did exist for moment, and now I will never see or hear any record of them ever again.
