Definitely a step up from the first game in terms of gameplay, feels a lot more fluid and is easier to control, aim, use bullet time, etc. Having the perspective change between Max and Mona is also a welcome addition that feels very natural. It does still suffer from some of the same weird archaic controls seen in Max Payne 1, but is a lot less distracting. Once again I will be happy to check out the remakes.
