Well this is a compromised version of a game that was already somewhat rough due to being very early in the N64's life. Playing it, I was disappointed by how basic a lot of the worlds are. Kind of expected more character, more flavor. I did appreciate the extra content they added though, such as the extra playable characters, or extra levels such as against the Goomba King from Paper Mario. That was neat and flavorful! Could've used more of that.
