An decent Metroidvania which suffers a lot from the decision to split the abilities between two characters. The magic all goes to the lady, and the physical attacks to the dude. As a result, both of them feel very underbaked with the dude having no good spells, and the lady having no good basic attacks. Despite this, the addition of portraits to the open world castle is cool - large self contained levels to explore is really nice, and a good change of pace. If only if the gameplay measured up.
