The first post Ezio Assassin's Creed has big shoes to fill and medium sized feet. Conner (and his Dad) aren't as charismatic as Ezio and, as such, the game's story doesn't quite measure up. That said, America is a great setting and the gameplay is much improved. Climbing trees is very cool, as are hatchets, guns and murder in general. There's also boats for the first time, which are neat but underused. This game also finally puts a cap on Desmond's story, which wasn't as cool as expected.
