Sonic's story is still some of the most fun and charming 3d platforming ever made and fortunately it's roughly 1/3rd of the game. The remaining 4 out of 5 other stories on the other hand have strengths and are mostly fine but feel like they end just as they start actually using the mechanics. And big is bad
