I first played the original on Wii back in 2013-2014 and fell in love with it. DE gives a very much needed new coat of paint and it now looks spectacular. Many of the music tracks have been re-recorded and somehow sound even better than the damn near perfect ost this game already had. Xenoblade 1 has had such a massive impact on me and I've only grown to appreciate it even more by playing it a second time in DE. Future Connected is a welcome additional story that may not be as big as Torna, but is still enjoyable and refines some of 1's shortcomings. I'm glad Monolith decided to revisit the original game one last time and truly provide the best way to experience it
