Awful tank controls aside, a really welcoming and fun horror experience. I personally found it a bit more unsettling than SH2, but I can't help but feel the awful controls play in a part in that bc I was moreso scared I'd die or get hit because I couldn't properly react.

Game moreso itself is about a 3, but half star bonus for the killer fucking soundtrack and bonkers story.

i think being scared of dying in a survival horror game is like, the point

Technically yes, but for me, that scare/stress factor is not because the game itself was scary.
Moreso, it felt more like "oh no, I'm going to die and have to redo this entire section again because I can't react to the threat properly with these controls", and therefore my stress/unsettled feeling was because the controls made me more nervous because if I died and had to redo several minutes since my last save I would be frustrated.

I know it's a product of the time when tank controls were king and 3D movement was properly figured out yet, tank controls just aren't for me I've come to learn.
