This game made me fall out of love with the series. The gameplay changes made the overall feeling of running around towns worse because they were so boring and streamlined. The locales weren't interesting, Connor wasn't interesting, and the story was a bland Native American version of Ezio's revenge story. Haytham being a Templar was legitimately the most interesting thing about this game, and he should have just been the main character the whole way through. What a waste.
