The way that this game lulls you into a false sense of security by playing a goofy live-action FMV at the beginning starring a schoolkid with attitude like it's the opening of a 1995 PS1 game before catapulting you into Just Skylanders But Worse once the actual gameplay kicks in was enough to give me whiplash. You had me fooled, Invizimals! I thought I stumbled on a hidden gem!

At least there's a buff ocelot furry voiced by Mike Pollock in this.

Now that I've 100%ed the game, here's some last minute thoughts:

There's a live-action FMV at the end of the game of the main villain and it hints at a sequel that this game never got, but unfortunately for me, it doesn't last that long and doesn't have the silly 90's era greenscreen effects that the opening had.

One of the Invizimals is very very racist (it's a totem pole/bald eagle monstrosity with a headdress)

Another one of the Invizimals is The Kraken. He's the worst character in the game because he's the only Invizimal that can't attack, nor can he walk on land. Why would do this.

Every single Invizimal in this game is a buff, muscle-y furry with clearly defined bara muscle furry pecs with two exceptions: There's the sexy cat woman with boobs, and there's The Kraken, who is just a regular squid.
