You start this game by shaking your 3DS to wake up a 144p video of Patchy the Pirate surrounded in so many JPG artifacts that he has his own heavenly glow and this is why I'm forgiving this game for having a runtime as long as the first Parappa the Rapper.

Fun fact: You CANNOT 100% this game. Thanks to a coding error that never got patched out of either Wii or 3DS version, the maximum percentage you can reach is 99%. The final Patchy the Pirate video will remain forever locked and, at the time of this comment, no one has datamined the final video.

Normally this would affect how I rate a game, but the fact that there's forbidden Patchy the Pirate content is really funny. Truly the game of all time.
