Difficulty is way overhyped. The bosses are fun and rarely feel unfair. The run 'n' gun levels are pretty mediocre but there's only like 5 so who really cares. The core boss gameplay is good and that's all that really matters, though being forced into planes is stupid sometimes. The process of getting an S rank on everything is fun and rewarding.
