A fantastic marriage of level design, super fun, fluid gameplay, and stupendous (like best-in-industry) worldbuilding. The characters are great too, and the artstyle is close to timeless - it still looks good in 2021. The missions themselves are interesting and varied, but the overarching story kind of sucks and the ending falls seriously flat. I will say that I felt better about the ending - both the level and the final moment itself - when I played through again on high chaos (and made a bad decision right at the end). Interesting for a game that typically incentivizes playing more slowly and stealthily.
