Overall it was a big improvement over Burning Earth. But still not really good overall.

It has some more cutscenes, and it follows the season accurately this time. The motion controls work fine here and offer something to keep you occupied. Pretending to bend is a cute little novelty here.

Oddly enough, there is a really fun side mode with Aang where you just glide around a map and collect coins. And it shocked me that there exists an official part of a game where he's flying around and they never bothered to add into a full scale release. This would be such an awesome way to explore an open world Avatar game.

So it gets a few things right, but the gameplay is still pretty dull and a slog even with co-op. Mechanically it is simple and there isn't a lot to sink your teeth into.

I think the first game is just better because you enjoy exploring the world more and the combat at least offered something more proactive and demanding of your attention. This is over and out pretty fast.
