one of my favorite RPGs, it's a classic that stands out among other titles. I really like the battle system and the difficulty is at a good level on the normal setting. This game oozes atmosphere, it gives a strong feeling of isolation in a hostile world that you need to fight to survive in.
the randomness of what can happen in each battle gives some novelty to each encounter, but you can never let your guard down or it's over. I should mention this has one of the most banger soundtracks in any game I've ever played.
It's not the best looking game, it's annoying and frustrating at times from the level design, and it's unforgiving, but I keep coming back to it.
