Many consider this to be the black sheep of the franchise and it shows why. While the gameplay arguably better than the rest of the other entries, every other factor is easily worst. The narrative is a mess, characters were not as interesting and the horror felt like window dressing for the most part due to the episodic direction the game went for.

I still like this game, only because it's still Fatal Frame at its core with a bunch of mishaps. But I wish KT would just stick with their FF 1-3 formulas instead.
