What Nintendo has created here is something I can't help but see as their greatest accomplishment. Especially when it comes to Zelda. I think this is the Zelda game they've envisioned since the start of it all back in 1986.

Breath of the Wild, to me, was the best open world experience I'd ever had with any video game. There was just something about roaming the fields and gliding through the skies of Hyrule that stuck with me. The world was beautifully created and so large, I'm still convinced there are a few areas of that game I didn't explore so when I heard Tears of the Kingdom was a sequel set in the same world, I was curious to how they'd approach that and make it feel fresh and not like something I had already spent 200+ hours in...
They did it though... I'm still blown away by the fact they were able to reuse a world that felt untouchable and turn it into something better than before, expanding Hyrule from the skies down to the depths, and in many more ways I would've never imagined, giving it so much more life than ever before.

The story here was also very surprising to me and another aspect of the game that took me right off my feet. This is a very emotional Zelda game that was incredibly well written and executed perfectly.
I'm not quite sure if Nintendo can top a story like this but, this is something I've said in the past when BotW came out and they made me eat my words by releasing this masterpiece so, we shall see...

This is a game and story I'll never forget and one that will stay with me for a very long time.
