Raw Metal is a baffling game. It is an action-stealth hybrid that doesn't seem particularly interested in its stealth nor its action, somehow managing to keep a loop together that is challenging and engaging but which feels like you're playing two proofs-of-concept that got smushed together and called complete.

The devs seem open to feedback around some of the issues I have with it, but they seem dedicated enough to their own design philosophy that these concessions take the form of menu options which substantially alter things like progression format. It seems, then, that most of what this game gets wrong (at least in my eyes) is at least on purpose. So maybe it's just not for me.
