FINALLY we start eating good with the 2D Mario titles.

Super mario Bros 3 feels a lot haed of it's time for the year it came out.
Style has completely changed again , but instead of being like Super Mario Bros. 2 (a bad sequel or the replacements of 4 Characters models in another game coff coff) this game returns to it's roots improving everything. From my perspective this is one of the best looking games onm the NES. Controls feels sharper and Mario carries a lot of speed and momentum , making Speedrunning levels rewarding and satisfyang.
The Tanooki Power Up mast have been awesome at the time considering how much it expands level exploration. Power Ups matter a lot considering how easy is to die in this game if you mess up something. Not as punishing as it's former predecessor , but still challenging enough. There are 3 Warps in this game and all of them are really well hidden. The final world is a huge spike in difficulty and resources like coins and 1-ups are AGAIN very limited. This makes warping a lot rikier and rewards exploring and complete every level a lot more useful if you're at your first run.
Gimmicks and level design improved a lot and the game feels smoother than ever.
THIS is what truly is Super Mario.
