Final Fantasy VI is widely considered to be one of the best Final Fantasy games and one of the greatest RPGs ever made, and that's why I had to play it someday.
Playing Final Fantasy VI around 30 years after it's initial release for the first time makes up for an absolutely fascinating experience.
First of all, I found Final Fantasy VI's story to be surprisingly simple at first, but it's accompanied by some of the best characters in the series; they're very likeable and engaging characters who enrich the narrative significantly. Also, the plot twist halfway through the story is simply mind-blowing and it makes the whole story so much better than it already is.
As for the gameplay, it's actually good, it aged very well, and its character customization and RPG elements are really good too.
The graphics still look very nice as well and the music is incredible even to this day.
As for the flaws... honestly, I don't really have anything negative to say about this game; it's pretty much a perfect Final Fantasy experience all the way through in my opinion.

Pros:
+ Rich narrative
+ Compelling characters
+ Enjoyable gameplay
+ Interesting RPG mechanics
+ Amazing music and visuals

Cons:
- None

Narrative: 9/10
Gameplay: 7/10
Content: 9/10
Characters: 10/10
Music: 10/10
Graphics/Audio: ?/10

Final Rating: 10/10
- Masterpiece -
Simply put, Final Fantasy VI is arguably the best Final Fantasy game ever, and it's also one of the best RPGs of all time, even to this day.

Do I recommend it?:
Must-play for Final Fantasy fans or RPG fans in general, period.
Highly recommended for newcomers as well, but keep in mind that Final Fantasy VI is an old game with pixelated graphics and basic turn based combat system.
