My friends have been playing this for years, so for this new league (Season) I decided id give it a go. At first, oh man I was not a fan of this game. Its not very new player friendly, VERY bloated with content from over the years, and quite complicated.

BUT...

It becomes fun as fuck. Once you start to get a grip on how the game plays, watch some youtube guides, have your friend's teach you, learn the systems, and get your build going (Id recommend following a league starter guide for your first character) the game becomes extremely fun. The combat is so satisfying, and its so interesting to see how intricate builds really start to get, I mean you've literally got shit like flasks and skills being automated for you, endless mana pools, endless sustained damage, its actually insane.

WoW has been my go-to game for years, but I wouldnt be surprised if this becomes one of my new go-to games for the next few years, at least until PoE 2 comes out.

Its not perfect, theres some annoying RNG you have to deal with on gearing, the trade/auction house is an external website (I mean... why?), and if you wanna look cool your gonna have to cough up some money. It is free to play after all though. No pay to win elements whatsoever at least.
