Honestly just had a great time with this. It's CLEARLY inspired by Resident Evil, Bioshock and the mascot horror genre, but where it may lack in originality, it makes up for with its fantastic execution. It sports some great level design (with well constructed backtracking), an off-putting but playful atmosphere, fun (and funny) mascots, solid puzzles, and a decent story; all within a neat 5-7 hour package. I know some people aren't huge fans of the combat, but to me it seems very intentionally designed to be less about the action and more about navigating through the levels and managing your resources (similar to older RE titles) so I think it worked well. Couple this with an ink-ribbon saving system, and I think this makes for a really fun experience that's an easy recommendation to any RE or survival horror fans.

Does it have some small issues? Yeah. Is it gonna blow you away? Unlikely. But in an era where every new game feels like its 2 or 3 times longer than it should be, it's nice when a fun little experience allows me to just get in, have a good time, and get out. And I think that counts for something.
