or... most people that played it just liked the game so they say good things about it. from what i see it's the other way around, pokemon fans mad at how successful palworld is and trying to undermine the devs, when they should just be happy they finally have a creative game inspired by their favorite ip to play.

@NOWITSREYNTIME17 yeah and their point is pokemon own the concept of animals or being disingenious with 3d models either claiming it was ripped from a pokemon game (which one none knows) or they modified the models from an asset pack (because buying assets bad). They are mad at a game being successful.

They're not, that's very disingenuous to claim that. They are actually using their eyes and seeing how blatant they are, I mean did you see the meganium/goodra fusion?

@NOWITSREYNTIME17 twitter posts that compares two vaguely resembling designs are not really proof enough to me. And both EA survival steam games and pokemon games can be considered slop nowadays so I don't see this as a relevant point. At least palworld is pretty innovative within its genre, it's got soul and is a genuinely fun multiplayer experience.

Yeah? You mean it's supposed to be similar to Dinossom? I know game freak has some history of getting inspired by fan works, I'm not sure it applies here honestly. At best yeah it's an inspiration, maybe.
I do think the game's got soul. Might not be apparent, might look like an asset flip shovelware at first. And yet, the very nature of this game makes it ten time more SOUL than anything i've seen from GF these past ten years. Not sure about your last point. Are you referring to that one badly translated bit of interview ?
