This game is an absolute masterpiece, while the story is very formulaic, it gets the job done by sending you into the meat of it pretty quickly. 20 Hour main story is enough to get your feet wet with its combat system and mechanics, while the real game begins after you finish the story.

If you've never experienced the world of Granblue Fantasy, you'll find it way more enjoyable if you watch the first season of the anime to just have an idea of the interpersonal relationships the characters have before jumping in. As with many adaptations of other big series, the game doesn't hold your hand in this aspect, and assumes you sort of know their deal, but if you don't, there's also Fate Episodes, sort of Visual Novel-esque short stories retelling a very TL;DR version of their backstory.

If you like action games with a ton of customization and meaningful grind, with a game-loop similar to Monster Hunter, you'll find your perfect match with Relink.

Relink is as close as any other has gotten to being my dream game.
