ZenCier reviewed Immortal Life
Positively surprising cultivation sim that makes a sloppy first impression but quickly pulls it back with an abundance of well-connected features to outshine most farming games.
+ brilliant sense of a community that developes alongside the player in both infrastructure and characters
+ easy access to near endless storage making inventory management only an early-game problem
+ multi-stat leveling with noticeable steps for long-term progression goals
+ comparatively great quality of life in the UI allowing most information to be found quickly
+ huge number of visual customization items
+ several distinctly-themed and large dungeons to explore and fight monsters in
+ instrumentally appropriate and quite pleasant soundtrack
+/- rather slow and unpredictable narrative beats
- no romance whatsoever
- general unpolishedness (buggy item selection, floaty movement, rare untranslated text, etc.)
- bad keyboard/mouse controls and missing button prompts for the actually decent controller scheme

ZenCier reviewed Banner of the Maid
Unusual TRPG rendition of some fantasized French revolution that is actually great in terms of content and only lacks the technical polish to compete with bigger franchises.
+ exceptional unit balance (owing largely to non-RNG stat increases and universal skills)
+ thematically distinct and refined aesthetics
+ large number of varied missions — including optional ones — for 25+ hours of content
+ good gameplay customization (excluding the absence of enemy turn skips)
+ weapon durability without permanent breaking
+ quite messy but still decent story for the genre
+/- over-the-top attractive character designs
- terrible camera control
- clunky UI in menus (respect to sensible gameplay keybinds, though)
- no interactions between characters outside the main story
- a lot of arbitrary and unforeseeable failure states making levels frustrating on any difficulty setting

ZenCier reviewed Marvel's Guardians of the Galaxy
Action-packed space adventure that always pushes you forward while brandishing its established cast and setting to reward paying attention.
+ distinctly flawed characters who become very endearing by the end
+ many creative and visually stunning environments
+ entertaining team banter with player input throughout
+ decent story featuring a good number of impactful choices
+/- unusual combat system that showcases everyone fighting together beautifully but also relies too much on auto-aim and spammable skills
- some exceptionally embarrassing dialogue
- unskippable cutscenes making random quick time events even worse
- extremely linear level design for the most part
