An anime Dark Souls... What more can I say? I had a rather enjoyable experience with this one, even ended up going for 100% completion. I will say that once you've played through the game once, it's an absolute breeze on subsequent playthroughs... And that's not to say it isn't a fair bit easier than Dark Souls to begin with. Regardless of that though, I'd give this one a go if you are at all into it!

What an absolute blunder this was. So much potential, thrown to the waysides. Combat is a button masher, exploration is completely pointless, not to speak of the terrible ending. On the plus side, the crafting in this game is one of the most fun aspects, so I ended up playing all the way through this one ONLY to stick a banana on a bazooka, which was juuuust entertaining enough to see it through.

This was my return to Assassin's Creed since the original game, and I have to say... Thank god they took it in the direction they did.

Whilst I didn't exactly expect a brawler-type game from a game named after Assassin's, the combat in this game felt crunchy and downright satisfying to perform most of the time. Quests were entertaining with a good story, albeit doesn't do anything groundbreaking. Hunting for the legendary weapons throughout the game was a fun side activity as well. A gigantic world to explore as a scandinavian viking? It's like a dream come true. The game does have it's issues, without a doubt, but I had a great time with this one and I think you would too.
