Definitly a fun game!

The movement, aiming, and gunplay feel really smooth and flexible. Shooting bugs is incredibly satisfying as their legs fly off and bug guts go all over the place.

There are a good amount of mission objectives each being unique from the other. Many different planets and environments all unique and bring a different experience.

So far 2 different enemy factions, the bugs and automatons. Each with their own playstyle which I enjoy. Bugs who primarily melee and the bots which are primarily ranged.

This variance in enemy ai and tactics allows for some really fun build variance. There are tons of different weapons, bombs, nukes, support equipment such as drones, and turrets. Although no individual weapon upgrades, they seem to be adding new weapons frequently.

Co-op is well though out with great teamplay such as a re-supply backpack and two player gun reloading. Also un-forgiving friendly fire promotes positioning and awareness of other teammates.

A unique community driven war progression system. Where the community tries to liberate planets against the specified enemy faction. Each round will visibly contribute to that planets liberation rating. This allows the developers to create unique and memorable events where not only can the player base win over planets but lose them which can have long-term consequences and can block certain events.

Balancing, although controversial is in an alright spot. There will always be unhappy people, but this game is getting constant balance patches and new weapons added, which will help balance the game over time. It is not a huge concern.

Overall, I would definitely recommend this game. It is pricey at €40, I would still say it's worth a purchase at that price.

The game itself is a lot of fun with a really high skill ceiling, but the developers and the way they update the game is disappointing. What the developers think is content is just events with 200$ skins and no actual gameplay content. So it does get a bit old after playing for a while
